House of Ninjas, House of Shinobi is a Japanese television series created by Dave Boyle for Netflix based on a narrative by Kento Kaku, Yoshiaki Murrao, and Takafumi Imai. The film stars Kaku as the protagonist, with Yōsuke Eguchi, Tae Kimura, Kengo Kora, Aju Makita, Nobuko Miyamoto, and Riho Yoshioka. It follows a family of ninjas, known as shinobi, as they fight to reconnect as a unit and return to their shinobi lifestyle. House of Ninjas debuted internationally on February 15, 2024.
The anime follows the Tawaras, a shinobi family that dwell in a traditional ‘home of ninjas’ in modern-day Japan. Six years ago, the eldest son perished during a mission to save a kidnapped politician, and the Tawaras lost their discipline. They want to be a regular family, yet they suffer from certain unique dysfunctions. When a fresh crisis strikes, the family is thrust back into the shadows of its history.
