Pratim D. Gupta developed, wrote, and directed the 2023 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller fantasy series Tooth Pari: When Love Bites. Endemol Shine India produced the film, which stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala, as well as Revathi, Tillotama Shome, Sikandar Kher, and Adil Hussain. The series debuted on Netflix on April 20, 2023.
Rumi, a rebellious vampire, lives with Ora’s family. The clan is not permitted to join the human world due to a contract they struck with a man named Adi Deb, commonly known as AD, whose family has been guarding the clan for years. AD entertains them as well as providing blood from a neighboring hospital, allowing these vampires to remain underground without murdering the humans above.
Living outside of the human realm has also kept them safe from the Cutmundus, a coven commanded by a witch named Luna Luka and their arch-enemy for years.
